This iReport is part of an assignment:
Autism awareness |
Angels For Autism all rights reserved
On my angel's birthday, a new movement will begin. After six months of creation, my dear friend, the artist Janet Panozzo, has designed the Eliza angel tile. The tile was made in my daughter likeness who has autism. The artist was inspired by her story of hope and innocence. The tile captures the chillike image that children with autism have their entire lives.
We will be creating a non profit organization to establish a recreational, educational, and vocational group home model for aging children with autism. The group home model will help children and adults with autism live the most productive and independent lives possible.
A portion the profits from the tiles will go to establishing this home and a model for others to follow nationwide.
