Autism awareness |
Patience, Love, Faith and Hope!
As a Mom/Adovacate: "Do what you think you need to do" Parents know best on what children with Special Needs Require. My Children with Autism have taught me more than I could ever imagine (Patience, Love, Faith and Hope)! The best advice i have ever received through all of this was early detection, early intervention, Very Strict Diet (2years of only meat that was not processed, certain fruits and veggies but nothing with corn) THE BODY HEALS ITSELF! I believe that as my son Jacob is living proof! He still has some issues but nothing like he used to have. We all have something that makes us different and we are all here for a reason! Unfortunatly, when experiencing what most parents have experienced with in regards to thinking your doing the right thing by taking our children to wellness baby checkups and vaccinations thinking that your preventing illnesses not bringing such an illness on, not having any clue that it would cause so much harm makes it very hard to trust the medical society and the CDC after this. If i would've known that this was going to happen i would have taken chance of having measles then to watch my kids be so sick. My kids will only go to the doctor if they break a bone or in a needed emergency. The best doctor is prayer and connecting to your child as a parent and go with what feels right! And not to expect a child to talk or interact when there sick (gut issues) imagine being very ill and having to try to communicate and interact with the world when all you want to do is figure a way to deal with the gut issues/pain. Once that is under control, watch out because it is so exciting to see what the changes that happen! As a parent that is frustrated with the school system, doctors, and the politics that goes along with Autism and the slow movement on this illness you can't wait as everyday counts: don't forget to stand up and be an advocate/voice for your kid your all they have right now!!!
~Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey: YOUR AWESOME AND YOUR BOY IS BLESSED TO HAVE YOU!!! ALL OF US PARENTS APPRECIATE YOUR VOICE FOR ALL YOUR DOING ON THE AUTISM AWARENESS!!!THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
