This iReport is part of an assignment:
New York hostage situation |
Binghamton New York Shooting Coverage
Just a note to CNN and other news agency's. Repeating the same story over and over again all day long really doesn't serve much purpose. Sure, people tune in at different times of the day but good grief, almost 12 hours of coverage saying the same thing is a waste of viewers time. There are other stories out there that warrant coverage. Like the end of G-20, North Korea, President Obama in France, the economy etc etc. Why do news agency's do this all the time, if there's an earthquake, a tsunami, a tornado, a hurricane, it's non-stop coverage, the people being affected by these weather mishaps are not watching TV. Those of us that are, are interested in the facts, once, not over and over again. Get on to other stories, stop depressing America even more than it is already with this over coverage of bad news.
There, I feel better getting this off my chest. It's been smoldering for a very long time.
