    Malabar Fires After Math

    This is aftermath footage from the Malabar Fires on May 13th 2008, The first shots are done at night with 2, 9 Led flashlights very bright but not bright enough for long shots. As you can see embers are still glowing everywhere look for the tree with the hole in the middle (burnt through)

     

     

    Then we go into the day footage and see alot of burnt trees and grass. Amazing I totally have a better understanding and appreciation of fire fighters.  What amazed me so much is the ground was still hot and it could ignite just by walking on it.  The day footage was the day after so there was just a few spots still smoldering.
