Wayne County, Michigan Executive Robert Ficano gave hefty raises to many of his appointees,
with some getting double digit raises during a recession. What Is This AIG?
I read this story about the Chief Executive of Wayne County, Michigan giving hefty raises to his appointees during a recession.
I thought to myself, can’t government officials learn to reform during a recession. Nope. This is all from a politician who wants to be the Governor of Michigan. Not a chance after this.
In addition, 47 appointees collected raises totaling at least 7% over the last two budget years at a time when the county was projecting a $30-million deficit.
