India provide full support and help to Sri Lanka to wage the war - Head of Finance
Mr Balakrishnan, Head of Finance, Bank of Tamil Eelam, in an interview claimed that Sri Lanka government is waging the war on Vanni with the international support.He further said that Sri Lanka is conducting the war with the economical and military support from China, Japan; arms from India,China,Israel and Pakistan. India is giving its full support and the all help for the war.
Due to the war daily minimum 50 people are dying and more than 100 are getting injured.
Since the war is waged with the international support, international community only can stop the war, he said.
He expressed Vanni people’s gratitude to Tamil Diaspora. He said due to their continued support and the propaganda only people get whatever meager food they are having now. The same way he said that the Tamil Diaspora’s support to end the war is required. He reiterated that since international community is involved in the war, only the international community can bring an end to the war too.
Sri Lankan Minister for Healthcare and Nutrition, Mr Nimal Sirpala de Silva too accepted in Parliament that the Government of India is providing all the cooperation and support for the war. He said that India’s help in the war is significant.
Within the last three months more than 4000 innocent civilians have lost their lives due to war and more than 10,000 were injured. Children are the worst victims of this war.
