Over 20.000 people, especially teenagers had protested today in the capital of Moldova – Chisinau, against the unfairness of the yesterday’s elections. The Communist Party won the most votes, but the teenagers don’t agree with the results. They say that the elections were falsified and aren’t fair.

Today, there were running a lot of text messages through Twitter and YM, which urged everybody who voted against communists to come with a candle in the center of the capital and protest. At the beginning, there were couple hundred people. In less than an hour, there came over 2000 teenagers. Some opposite parties’ leaders joined the protest, as well. By 8:00 PM local time (GMT+5), there were protesting almost ten thousand people. The youth says they are the power and they need a change in their country. Some  protesters were wearing the flag of Moldova and on many inscriptions it was written “Down with the communism,” “Better dead than communist,” “Freedom! Freedom!”

The whole avenue where the protest took place was so crowded that the traffic just couldn’t go.

Tomorrow, there is expected another protest at 10:00 AM
