Harvard Business School Rolls Out The Eco Friendly Fashion Runway
Boston - HBS retail & apparel and social enterprise clubs presented their annual charity fashion event. This year to benefit Conservation International. The event was held April 7, 2009 at Mantra in downtown Boston. The fashion event highlighted emerging designers with an eco friendly theme to rasie money and awareness for the environment. A silent auction of donated eco friendly products was held in conjunction with the event to reinforce the conservation theme and environmental awareness. Models were student volunteers from HBS that did a superb job walking the catwalk. Local model and runway consultant Aileen Benson helped get the students in good form for the show. The models performed to a packed house of enthusiastic students and guests signaling a successful event. I can't wait for next year's offering from HBS!
