In Dec 2008, I lost a job I loved for 18 years due to the economy.  After facing initial shock, fear, and anxiety I found joy and opportunity by following a simple plan.  I was inspired to put my story into a book, The Joy of Job Loss, just recently released to inspire others impacted by job loss or for those fearing job loss.
