Pink Pixels from Paree....

The Foire du Trone, now located in Bois de Vincennes just outside Paris city limits, dates back to the 10th century when it was an agricultural faire where farmers would come to trade their produce and pass the days in merriment.
Well, after 1000 years, needless to say, times have changed. The modern festival coincides with Easter vacation, lasts 'til June and is packed with amusement rides, cotton candy, jelly apples, and some pretty bad food....nevertheless, it does provide some fun photo ops. All these photos were taken yesterday, Saturday morning, in the faire and around Lake Daumesnil which is adjacent to the faire-grounds....Enjoy the ride...(M & J)
