Salvation Mountain - folk art dedicated to Jesus
Stay as long as you want, it doesn't cost a cent to visit Salvation Mountain in Slab City near Niland, California. The yellow path leads to the top of a mountain created by Leonard Knight. You can explore the colorful inside of the mountain too...tree branches, bales of hay, and thousands of gallons of paint created this place in the desert by a man driven by faith in Jesus. Leonard told me his message is simple: "God Is Love".
