Running Out of Time
Jananie lost her job at as a guest relations manager at a high end hotel in 2008. She has recently been staying with a friend but will soon have to move. She spends each day searching for jobs and dealing with the fear that she will soon be forced to live on the street.
The letters to Obama project is a storytelling project that invites people to write letters to the president and collaborate with a filmmaker to turn that letter into a short video. These stories are being collected as a document of who we are at this unique moment in history.
