Toward Financial Recovery
Countries that suffers from global financial crisis are like patients who are critically ill. If their relatives spent too much time arguing who should be the right doctors, instead of allowing the doctor who is already in the hospital to dedicate his/her time to treat the patients - most likely, the patients would die first.
We have limited time to deal with this before the country goes under. Arguing and dwelling on the past could not undo what already happen. Endless argument about how many died in the riot without supporting evidence, about double standard, about who is right and who is wrong in the last riot, etc are not the part of financial recovery solutions. Obviously, the damages were done. Every one agreed.
However, if we want to improve our livihood and those in the rural area, let's focus on the real issue - how could we help contribute to financial recovery?
We can solve the problem faster if we become a part of the solutions instead of only holding the government responsible.
Time and energy are better spent if Thai people focus more on how to help each other to get through the crisis. Help yourself, then help at least one other person. If you are Buddhist and believe in karma. you will know that what's goes around comes around. If you help others, others will help you.
So let's exercise our power to make a difference here.
