    Warriors on the Water - Highlights

    The 4th Annual Warriors on the Water, Jordan Lake NC has been a huge success!

    Warriors On the Water™ is a non-profit organization that exists for the sole purpose of having a way to say “Thank-You” to our men and women in the Armed Services for all that they do to keep us free.

    Warriors On the Water™ was founded by three retired military men (Greg Lahr, Hal Abshire and Bob Cunningham) that all served in Desert Storm and wanted a way to show their appreciation to the men and women that are still serving.

    This years Champions are James (Buster) Seabolt and Brian Harrison (US Marines, Camp Lejeune) !

    Brian Harrison also met with Medal of Honor Reciepient Rudolfo Hernandez who attended the event, to share his win!

    The event kicked off with a jump demonstration of the USASOC Black Daggers who flew in the offical event flag and conducted several water landings.

    It was a great day on the water for the troops and supporters!  Army, Airforce, Marines, Navy and Coast Guard practicapted in the event.

    Totals for the event were;

    Total number caught:   132 fish.

    Total weight caught: 485-5.

    Number of teams to weight in fish 73 teams.
