    Swiss Train Journey on the Bernina Express

    No compilation of scenic train rides would be complete without at least one from Switzerland. There are many to choose from, and I have traveled on several of them. I've chosen the Bernina Express for this album.

     

    The Bernina Express travels from Chur in Switerland to Tirano Italy in a little over four hours. The train reaches an elevation of 7,392 feet on this trip. Despite this, the route is open year-round.
