Shortly after 10am. I noticed a very low flying commercial jet flying down the Hudson, very close by the World Financial Center with an F-16 escort. I immedietly started to feel the same anxiety I had on 9/11. Luckily the plane started to bank left towards NJ, and I snapped the photo. Shortly thereafter the plane came around again and we started to head towards Battery Park. That's when traders from the exchange rushed out screaming to get away from the buildings. We all rushed as the plane came around a third time. It was amazingly scare. We were waiting for it to either do a move on us or get shot down. Shortly thereafter the people started to come out of buildings as evacuations began to the staging areas (photo attached)... Sometime later it was said that it was an excercise. Imagine how irresponsible to do this to people without notice. I am very upset.
