    It's the Pits.

    In Bronson, west of Ocala in north-central Florida, there's this place called BubbaQue's. Big menu, from pulled pork to brisket, grilled chicken or smoked burgers, this place serves great food.

    But they serve a lot of fun, too. The theme is "trailor-trash barbeque," and they play the part with gusto! The cooks don't yell; "Amy - Order up!" when they put a fresh plate out - they yell; "Amy - get in th' truck!" Customers sit on converted igloo coolers and assorted other junk.

    Real pits out back are fired up early in the morning and burn all day long. Their slogan is "BubbaQue's: It's The Pits."  Don't say it like it's a bad thing!
