What would you ask Big Oil?

    More from meritel

Congress should be the ones getting grilled!!!

The oil execs were getting grilled about their 4% profits and increasing output, but it is Congress who is creating most of the problems and should be grilled!!! I would like to hear our Congressmen answer:

If 4% is enough, why don't you have the pharmaceuticals and lawyers up here explaining their massive profiting?

If you want oil execs to fix the problems, are you willing to change the blocks being imposed? Can they now drill in ANWAR, off-shore, etc? If not, quit complaining.

Why don't we have 1 standard for gas rather than letting every city create different mixes which drives up the price?

Why don't you stop the exporting of diesel when it is causing problems at home? If everything else is for "national security" isn't keeping our diesel here part of "national security"?

Everyone wants to blame the oil folks when much of this is our own environmental and patent laws. Change the laws and we'll see dramatic changes in our energy costs. IF we're going to "save" everything, we can't complain when our costs keep going up.
