This iReport is part of an assignment:
What would you ask Big Oil? |
Who's to blame
Its total wrong to blame the price of gas on big oil companies, these companies are for profit and thats what they are doing. We all blamed Enron and Worldcom exec's when they get millions in bonus while the company was accumulating losses.
The point here is that we the consumers have to realise that as we keep pushing the consumption it will create the demand for which the suidi's and oil companies would charge more and more. So the only solution is to find alternative sources (government should help) and lower the consumption in the mean time by driving less and driving smaller cars.
PS: every other country pays more for there gas then drivers in the US. Thats why they drive smaller cars, user public transportation and save on the natural resource. Its time we follow suit - for my share i car pool to work.
