This iReport is part of an assignment:
How has H1N1 impacted your life? |
The Swine/Avian Flu
OK, I truly believe that laughter is the best medicine. With that said - here is my comment. We now know that the swine flu has crossed with the avian flu. Thus we have a brand new flu. Let's call it H1N1/sa for swine-avian. We also know that geneticists have been trying for many years to make tomatoes more resistant to disease by inserting genetic material from the swine into the tomatoes. (do you see where this is going?) So, when will the flu jump from the swine to the tomato? When will we be getting the swine flu by eating our vegetables - H1N1/sv????
