    May 8th: National Public Gardens Day

    Friday May 8th marks the first annual National Public Gardens Day, bringing awareness to public gardens around the country and the important role they play in environmental conservation and community involvement.

     

     

    There are over 500 member gardens at APGA. To search by garden name or state, visit the American Public Garden's Association (APGA)website.

     

     

    Missouri Botanical Garden will be giving away sunflower seeds on May 8th to celebrate the day.
