When Joe the Plumber came to my town Part: II...

LastFriday, Joe Wurzelbacher came to speak to a group of people in my town. Everyone had gathered in the in the center of downtown at Pennsylvania Park. This was an organized "T.E.A. Party" protesting taxes and what seemed like the Obama Administration in general.

Not only were there people protesting taxes, there were also those who were present to support the policies put in place by the Obama Administration. Students (from both the college and high school), teachers, business owners, and Girl Scouts were all in attendance.

We also caught on tape a couple of police officers having a talk with some people there to support the Obama Administration's policies. One officer told the individuals that he didn't want to see them make "any trouble."

After Joe was done speaking he asked a few students to stay after (the individuals holding signs that read "My taxes went down!", courtesy of college student Andy Grandstaff, and other signs closely related to the same views.) The student in the video who is talking with Joe is Joshua MacVey, 18, of North Central Michigan College.

My friend Kasey recorded the video, I took the pictures and did the amateur reporting.

*Disclaimer*: Sorry about the poor audio quality on Joe and Josh as well as with the police officers. The music was very loud.
