    Electrical Fire on Power Pole

    Because the firefighters were in the process of trying to control the fire, I couldn't ask any questions about it but this fire which was located at the top of a power pole in New Orleans Lower 9th Ward looked pretty spectacular. The fire may have started with bad wiring or a defective transformer on the pole.

     

    The photos and videos were taken about 9:45 EDT near the corner of Tupelo and Claiborne Avenue.
