This iReport is part of an assignment:
Wildfires blazing near you |
Santa Barbara Jesusita Fire - PM update
The winds have remained calm but the flames are now headed upslope. Helicopter crews are working hard to drop retardant on the upper slopes.
A few flare ups near residential areas were put out quickly in the past couple of hours.
Helicopter crews are setting up a new retardant station off Highway 154.
The main thing to watch is how the sundowners will behave this afternoon and tonight.
