Bergün Switzerland
The village of Bergün lies on the Albula Line, Glacier Express Line and the Bernina Express Line. It is now a Unesco World Heritage Site. The movie Heidi was shot near here. The world famous Bergün to Preda spiral tunnels are between Bergün and the next village Preda. Cows are paraded thru Bergün morning and evening during the tourist season in this beautiful village of 400. My wife and I hiked the Alps between the two villages. Located in the south eastern corner of Switzerland, Canton Graubünden is the largest of the Swiss cantons and for me the most beautiful. This view shows the middle of three levels the train must traverse to get to Preda the next village on the way to San Moritz. Here is the website for the RHB railroad.
I want to go again and again to Switzerland. It is heaven on earth. Here is my HD video of Swiss Rails in the Snow 2004.
