This iReport is part of an assignment:
One thing to beat the recession |
"NO RECESSION IN MY HOUSE, WHAT ABOUT YOUR HOUSE?
I have not felt a recession going on my home. I have not been worried about my bill's because I am on a good budget that work's for me. I am on bill pay with my bank, I shop once a month for everything but bread & milk. I try not to over extend myself for extra stuff I can do without. I been able to go on two mini trip's, one to a resort and the other camping that problem cost me not even $100.00. My husband was a little afraid, but I told him he had to stick to our plan utilized what we had, not let our eyes become greedy for what we could not afford. During the gas situation, it a little bit regarding the driving one car instead of both cars, but we manage. We spend more time together than ever. We look at the aspect as a plus in our romance department. Leaving no room for disappearing act's to the shopping mall to spend more money. (Smile) speaking of shopping, " I haven't had to do without anything I truly desired". I know my limitation, I do not want to hurt my family budget by any purchases that would take me off track. I believe if the family member care about each, each of the family member should act responsible, keep in step to the families budget in mind.
I even learn it's not how much you have, it's how you work with what you have. Do not get me wrong, I do understand their are some people are really suffering out there, but you can make if you try. My altitude toward the unfortunate is, if I can share something with them if situation arrises. I t ry hard not to keep up with the Jones, they will get you in trouble every time. Plan everything, staying on track will make you more discipline so if you have a emergency you will not be out pocket. sailing, no recession in my house! One word was my friend through the so call recession "BUDGET".
