    Tornado Path - Kirksville, KY 5/08/09

    Using data from the National Weather Service including width and strength, combined with field observation of the debris field, this is a rudimentary interpretation of the probable path of the 5/08/09 Kirksville tornado in Madison County KY overlayed onto a satellite map.

     

    Note: This is only the portion that most impacted populated areas and does not represent the entire 22 mile path.
