    Capitalism Works

Let the stupid two faced banks fail!  Credit card companies are run by idiots – especially Bank of America. They raised my rate to 21% because I was late on one payment. I called them and asked them to reduce the amount. They said my income to outflow ratio was too high making me a credit risk. I told them I have over 100 thousand in non liquid assets, but they did not care. They wanted me to reduce my other credit card debts, which all have rates below 6%. Are they Stupid?! So, I sold some assets, paid off the Bank of America Card, ripped it to shreds and cancelled the service. How much more would they have earned on me, if they kept the percentage rate at 6% - A LOT! I would have held the card and the balance for years. If you treat all your customers like Jerry Springer participants, then the good customers will turn tail and run and all you will be left with are the Jerry Springer clients! I told Bank of America I would not be doing any business with them for at least 7 years. After that I will rethink my position. By the way, all my other credit cards are still at 6%. GTHBOA!  This is the way capitalism works, when the consumer has the power!  Unfortunately too many Americans have given their economic power to the corporations!  Take it back!  Stop spending.  Start saving! Live below your means!
