Graduates looking for work |
Looking to Educate the Future
I am a recent graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. I received a bachelor's degree in elementary education with an additional reading specialist license. Along with tens and hundreds of other teaching graduates, I am looking for a job in these tough times. Even a year ago, I didn't think it would be too difficult to land a job, but a lot has changed since then. It's tough to wait for prospective schools to call you, but that's what I'm going to have to do. I've applied to many locations throughout Indiana, Illinois, Texas, and even Korea. I will keep trying and trying until I am successful. I'm very willing to relocate, and it sadly seems as though the economy has taken its toll on education. To anyone who is out there reading, I'm willing and ready to make a difference.
