WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!
This is the first time I've ever watched a full season of American Idol and it will probably be my last.
Danny Gokey, a great talent in his own right who might have won in any other season, did not even come in second and make it into the finals.
The greatest travesty is that possibly the finest talent this show has had and will ever see, Adam Lambert, did not win.
The judges should be able to over rule the fickleness of an audience who voted for the "cutest" and not the ones who deserved to win. Maybe that's what makes an "American Idol" these days and this iReport should have multiple categories - "Have you ever been judged on looks?" or even "Your Thoughts on Same Sex Marriage."
Don't get me wrong. Kris Allen is cute, strums a nice guitar and even sings pretty much in tune most of the time. He pales, however, to the two real contenders.
