White May in Poland
Poland is a country where approximately 89% of inhabitants declare to be catholic. May is traditionally the month when young children (about 9 years old) make their first Communion ie. they fully participate in the holy Mass for the first time. On Sunday mornings but also on weekdays you can see girls and boys dressed in white who go to churches all over Poland. The first Communion is a great family feast for Poles and a good occasion for family reunion.
