This iReport is part of an assignment:
Graduates looking for work |
Work for yourself!
One of the problems with our education system is that it teaches subservience. We are taught to work for someone else! We are all educated to be cattle following the crowd into employment making someone else money where we get paid what it will cost to replace us, not what we are worth. There are plenty of home based businesses that work! Amway, Avon, Mary Kay, Natures Pearl, Shaklee and a number of other home based businesses are available to anyone over the age of 18. These are legitimate businesses where your income depends on how much work you are willing to put into it. I have run my own home based business for many years. I find that too many people think they cannot sell a product or are somehow opposed to sales people. Nothing gets from the manufacturer to your home unless a sales person helped it get there. Others are simply lazy. The lazy people want a job where they can do the least amount of work and get raises every year. Then the lazy people complain that they have less than those who took risks. It would be laughable if they weren't so disgusting!
