Annual Memorial Day Parade In Fort Wayne, Indiana
Many non-profit organizations, and spectators participated in Fort Wayne' Annual Memorial Day Parade. Most of the orgranizations in the Fort Wayne area included the following: Korean War Veterans Organization Indiana Chapter 1, Mayor Tom Henry, Fort Wayne Police Dept, Allen County Sheriff's Dept., Elmhurst and Concordia Luthern High School marching bands, Concordia Lutheran High School JROTC, Military Order of the Purple Heart "Combat Wounded Veterans," Cub Scouts and Brownies, and many other patriotic organizations. Near the conclusion of the parade was a paper made eagle with red, white, and blue balloons behind our National Bird.
Following the parade, over 250 people attended the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
Happy Memorial Day to all American Veterans and troops.
