What Education Needs!
The first video I created about education was kind of silly, but seriously, education can be so much more than what we have now!
I am not claiming to have answers for everyone, but at Iles Elementary, we are in the application process to become an International Baccalaureate School. Education and the world are changing at exponential speeds. We are responding by "Becoming the Change We Want to See". We are educating students for jobs which perhaps haven't even been invented yet! And we are becoming a much more "global village". Interpersonal skills, cultural awareness (NOT tolerance...we celebrate diversity not "tolerate" it!!), and rigor, relevence and building relationships are integrated into everything we do, everything we teach.
