Sound Off: Delegate dispute |
Michigan & Florida -re VOTE maybe?
I live in Michigan & I am a Hillblazer for Hillary. Sadly, I didn't cast a vote in my Michigan primary because I was told it was Hillary's name on the ballot - only and that is who I wanted to win THAT and I had the flu that day and couldn't get of bed to save my life.
In any case, there are a lot of pros & cons to this as Wolf Blitzer has pointed out:
-In a Michigan economy that already is drowning in dark depression recession & people like myself, unemployed (substitute teaching) and struggling this would bring:
-Tourists, volunteers, media, & in general money to Michigan -briefly, but hey, we can get all of the press and commerce we can get
-On the other hand, the amount of money to have this re-VOTE is daunting, we already have money problems in our state... how would we foot the bill? Would it all balance out?
-Back to Hillary: I am a Hillary supporter and I don't want her to for instance LOSE this state -she has just gotten done running a marathon for Ohio, Texas, & Rhode Island- its costly & could cause an upset, but I guess it depends on which side of the fence you want painted.
So, until we know more about exactly how much this will cost and what Howard Dean & the DNC decide... we will wait in cold snowy Michigan.
*sigh.
