    "Idol" chatter: Kris wins!

    More from mvalgal

Something's Fishy With AT&T And The American Idol Winner...

Congratulations Kris on your American Idol win. Did anyone else watch Larry King Live with the American Idols over the weekend?  Were they the most lethargic and deflated looking group of Idol contestants yet.  Maybe they knew that something was rotten in Denmark.

Could it be that AT&T actually influenced the outcome of this competition?  The New York Post is reporting that at parties organized by fans of Kris Allen, that there were free text message services supplied by AT&T representatives.  Allegedly, AT&T claims through a corporate sponsor to have merely taught Allen's fans how to "power text" at the parties, allowing them to barrage the texting system with the push of a button.

How lucky to live in a country where ATT can circumvent all the rules, and have texting demonstration parties which ultimately could change the outcome of the legitimate vote.

You are a talented young man.  However, the folks who handled the whole "texting" and free phone distribution issues in the fine State of Arkansas should be ashamed of themselves.

Hey AT&T, where are the corporate representatives who should have supplied the same power texting help for both Danny and Adam? Or did you think Kris just needed that big of a heads up on the voting?

    Sometiing smells fishy in Arkansas.

This is just a singing contest, but fair is fair.

Of course, this show has never actually shown us the real results numbers from any voting period, so who really knows how legitimate the show really is. Maybe from now on they should show us what the voting numbers were week to week so we know that the producers are not just cherry picking the contestant that they want to win.
