Arrest in Burma/Myanmar
Trial of Burmese democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi has been going on for two weeks in Insein prison in Rangoon. Security has been too tight and no one is allowed to film in any location nearby prison.
CNN reporter is inside Burma, but we are not sure she is able to film any thing.
Undercover reporters from Democratic Voice of Burma (DVB) inside Burma are secretly filming it since the beginning. Most of their footage appear on mainstream media including CNN sometime.
Today (28 May), there is a solo demonstration by an retired army man. His protest last only 5 minutes and arrested by security forces in civilian cloth. The footage is film by DVB reporters and sent out a few hours after the arrest. Reuters which obtained footage from DVB has distributed it to its clients.
Many people expect the trial will pronounce a guilty verdict for Aung San Suu Kyi in a few days. It is an interesting movement to see situation a few days ahead.
