    Victory Garden Update #4

    Since Mrs. Obama was showing off her Victory Garden today on CNN, I thought I would give an update on mine.  I started this in March, inspired by Mrs. Obama's Victory Garden.

     

    The strawberries are ready to eat tonight.  The avocado tree is brimming with hundreds and hundreds of budding avocados.  We ate some of the lettuce last night and some of the radishes.  The red bell peppers are black at the moment, I hope they turn red soon lol.  There is a clump of lemons already ripe and some oranges that are just starting to come up.  The jalepenos peppers are looking really good and getting big.  Tomato's are just about everywhere but not ripe yet.

     

    I would love to see more reports on the progress of other Victory Gardens.
