    Occoquan River, VA Dam Rescue

    US Park Police and Fairfax County Policy helicopters rescued two men from the Occoquan dam on Sunday, 5/31/09 at 1:00.  I spoke to one of the pilots, the men were in a fishing boat, when the motor died and it was being swept over the dam, they jumped out at the last minute.  The boat went over the dam and was crushed, the men however were saved, thanks to the bravery and piloting skills of the US Park Police and Fairfax County Police.
