    The Return of the "Day of the Castle"

    All across the Netherlands castles, castle-gardens, and various other regal outdoor areas are being opened up to the public on this, the the second annual "Dag van het Kasteel", or "Day of the Castle". From rustic to fanciful, the castles showcase their various styles, each uniquely, offering everything from boat rides along ancient moats to guided tours, children's activities and live music.
