Eye on Russia: Opportunity and Influence |
My interesting train mates
I might surprise you, but what I really miss living in USA are Russian trains.. Well, to be correct, its travel mates of the train compartment I am missing here.
As you could only imagine, Russia is a huge country and riding on overnight train considers a 'short-trip'..
I have to say, it's a lot of fun!! And if you are lucky and your train mates happened to be interesting people, your trip is becoming more interesting!
And your ride could become even more exsiting, if you've had a cutie-cute visitor from another train compartment... Isaiah was his name, Biblical name! Wow!
I was lucky with my train mate and a new friend Svetlana V., PhD, German language teacher. She and her students were returning from the Student International Forum held in Volgograd.
Oh, it's such a fun, riding on Russian train!
