Urban Farming |
Flower Bed to Organic Garden
This year I transformed my flower bed into an organic garden. I dug up all my perennials and either gave them away or moved them to a different location. I ordered organic seeds during the winter and planted them in April. Now all my baby lettuce, beets, squash, carrots, kale and tomatoes are growing quite well and I am very excited! In August I plan on canning my tomatoes, it will be a first time experience for me.
