First of all, I wish to take this opportunity to thank Mr President to do something I  believe was not even done by most of the Muslim Leaders around the world. He has displayed the courage to reach out to the Muslim world and open a forum which clearly brings out hope and new begining. Although many say that he lacked actions in his Speech, I would defend that by saying that

1. He did took the first step. This should have been done by Muslim leaders to reach out to their community to understand the grave issues and help out.

2. He did not wait for Hosni Mubarak to give an introductory speech...which is good since he took it on by himself.

Not only this speech has reaffirmed my faith in world polictics and peace movements, but have also bought back the belief that was lost in Washington during the last 8 years. Not only Obama can get this working, but as a Muslim myself I strongly believe that this would help bridge the gap that existed not so long ago.

For the extremists - I see this as a slap on the face and I am thrilled about it. I do not agree with these radicals who misinterpret the teachings of Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammed (PHUH) for their benefit. Kudos to Obama..He ROCKS!!!
