Great Atlanta charity gives deserving kids the ride of their lives!
This is some coverage from the 4th Annual Dream Ride for Kids. It takes place in Atlanta, Georgia, and helps support children's charities. The kids get to ride in their choice of car from a designated starting point in the city, ultimately ending up at the Ferrari of Atlanta car dealership. This is the largest turn-out I have seen from this event. The organizers got a police escort this year from the Dunwoody Police Department and the Alpharetta Police Department to help with traffic on the 18.5 mile journey.
"S and W Sports Cars Invites you to participate in the 4th Annual Children’s Charity Dream Ride sponsored by Ferrari, Aston Martin and Maserati of Atlanta.
Do you have the passion and spirit to make a child’s dream come true? Please join us for our fourth annual Dream Ride to benefit Camp Sunshine, Cure and The Atlanta Ronald McDonald House. We’re looking for the ultimate in exotic and classic automobiles to chauffeur some very deserving kids on the ride of a lifetime. Plan your drive now!
The Children’s Charity Dream Ride will take off from Season’s 52 at Perimeter Mall at 9:00 AM on June 6th, 2009 and travel via police escort to the Ferrari Dealership in Roswell."
I have video however the uploader failed twice so I think I will omit the video.
