Unrest in Iran |
Pre-Election Unrest and Protesting in Iran
Tehran , Iran: 1:30am June 7, 2009 -- after the presidential debate which was broadcast live on National TV -- people are still in the streets of Tehran. This Friday most of these people (at least in the big cities like Tehran) will vote against Ahmadi-Nejad in the presidential election of Iran, but they are worried about government's cheating. People are tired and want change, but there are still some fundamentalists who support the current government.
