Managing your allergies |
Allergy Relief Indoors, Economical - Filter and Fan
What's helped me a lot is a 20-inch box fan and 20-inch furnace filter; you can get both for under $30 at many local hardware stores. A Lasko fan is about $25, and should last for years. Fiberglass filters are about $2 each and should last for weeks. Be careful that children and pets can't get into the fiberglass and hurt themselves; more expensive non-fiberglass filters are available if necessary.
I run the fan with the filter 24 hours a day during peak hayfever season. It helps a lot to sleep in clean air, and to work in it during the day.
