Finding My Inner Dating Zen
When it comes to Internet dating I was a revolutionary. Long before Internet dating sites even existed I started talking to a man from online - he was from Iowa and I was from Pennsylvania. After 7 months of talking, we finally met and had an amazing two year relationship. We never told anyone how we met. Now, almost a decade later, I have tried many of the most popular dating sites only to find that I have about as much chance of finding the perfect mate online as I do of finding him at a random bar.
Apparently as soon as Internet dating sites became popular, they also became populated with the crazies. Or maybe, just maybe, after dating for so long I've become a little jaded. Maybe I just need to take a break, do a little meditating and find my inner dating Zen. Maybe then I'll have a better chance of wading through the thousands of profiles to find that fabled "one." Oh look! I have 15 new matches in my Inbox - perhaps I'll start there...
