This iReport is part of an assignment:
How's your economy? |
How's your economy - Palms Casino, Las Vegas
Anyone who follows my iReports knows I'm always looking for a positive
economic story. And if someone's figured out how to make the most of these
times, I'm curious to know how. When I was at Palms last week covering an
event and heard they were sold out (when everything else I heard about Vegas
leading up to that trip seemed to be about bankruptcies on the strip or
desperation to fill rooms) I wanted to know how they do it.
I met Trent Allen Parks (who's never had a career in broadcast although he
sounds perfect for it) their National Sales Manager. I asked him a question
CNN has posed:
How's your economy? Apparently it's alive and well. He talks about the
economy in Las Vegas, promotions they are doing to boost business, marketing strategy, and how Vegas continues to be home for corporate America, including Atlanta's Real Estate Developer Hendon Properties who recently patronized the hotel.
