    In 1997 I was coming out of a painful break-up.  My daughter was gone visiting her dad for the summer, and I wanted some casual fun.  I signed up on Yahoo Singles.

    I met some very interesting men.  Some were not interested in me, and some vice-versa.  I think the point was that I wasn't "desperate" or looking for a husband - I looked at each meeting as an experience.  Out of the blue - WHAM!  I started corresponding with a guy aboub history and politics, all the while putting out my disclaimer that I wasn't looking for a serious relationship.

    We married a year later, celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary last July and have a beautiful seven year old son.
