    I have found a real mix of characters with social inadequacies, scammers and decent people.  Since I started online dating in my forties, it has gotten more bizarre as time has gone on.  After you weed out the scammers, then there are the socially maladjusted that try to hide their penile implants, deformaties and child size body parts.  The only sad part is the wasted time and attention spent on this group.  Once you filter down to the average normal decent folks, its an alright way to meet and get acquainted.  I have never contracted a disease nor experienced abuse or financial loss.  I have had relationships lasting as long as 3 years.  I haven't met "the one" but I continue to try.
